God gives us in life opportunities!

Many times by not taking risks we let go or pass many things, including love, family, and even church, all because we feel like it, we are lazy, or do not have time (don´t care) ... There´s always an excuse or a reason to miss the opportunities that God gives us:

Examples:

When you have been offered a job but do not like it, because it is very little to you or is far away from where you live (home). Why didn´t you take it? Do, you know that maybe from that place you could of expanded your horizons and perhaps with that something in your hands you could of had a better chance to get other things, but NO, you missed the opportunity.

When you have children for example, you spend a lot of time at work, to be with friends, partying like a rockstar, enjoying life and when you come to realized you come home and everyone is asleep, hardly you see them. When you finally realize, you can no longer have control of them. Now your kids have their own life and you continue to criticize, complain for all the time, for not being there. Let us not give away the moments that God gives us in life, take your time for everything, think what you do in life before, do not let go of things out of your hands.

When you know true love, you like it but you do not say it and you think that is not the right time to speak with that someone... And (but) one day you realize that is no longer available. When you decide to go and see, you can´t, because it´s been so long instead of approaching yourself you have moved away because you were never present and you ´d pass the opportunity to be with that person you have loved all your life. You had had a chance and lost it, just because! Not everything goes round and around us, everything has it´s time.

When you're mad with a family member and it hurts much that you do not recognize it at all: You feel unloved by it, and your pride is injured and you aren´t feeling capable on going and showing the love to whom is treating you badly. It forces’ you to pay evil instead of good. You once again pass the opportunity to be with a family member and finally be happy.

1 Cor 7.21. If, (when) you had been a slaved you were called, do not worry, even if you had a chanced to get your freedom, you have taken (you have) a great opportunity in the Lord's side and got better results, although many are against that.

God gives us many opportunities, but that doesn’t mean that all you want is always available or your way. So in life, we have opportunities and we let go of them, and when we want to remedy it is too late. Wake up and smell the coffee. God´s given you many opportunities, don´t be a blinded man or a women. God Love´s You!

El líder se prepara para ejercer el liderazgo Roboam fue un rey joven de la antigüedad. Joven, brillante y ambicioso. Su árbol genealógico era estupendo: bisnieto del rey David e hijo del rey Salomón. Asumió el poder cuando tenía algo más de cuarenta años, en el año 997 a.C. ¿Qué podemos decir de este joven monarca? Que estaba signado para ser un triunfador. El reino al cual iba a gobernar era sólido en el plano económico y militar. Gozaba de reconocimiento internacional y tenía enfrente una brecha para consolidarse como uno de los más fuertes en toda la historia de la humanidad; sin embargo terminó en división y fracaso. ¿La razón? El relato lo podemos leer en el primer libro de Reyes, capítulo 12, versículos del 1 al 33. Allí encontramos la respuesta: Roboam no estaba preparado para tres cosas. La primera, para asumir el poder y ejercerlo con equilibro; la segunda, para tomar decisiones oportunas, acertadas y eficaces asido de la mano de Dios, y tercera, para proyectar su reino hacia...

Detente y piensa en las maravillas de Dios

Espera un poco, Job, y escucha; ponte a pensar en las maravillas de Dios. - Job 37:14 ¿Hace cuánto tiempo no sacas un ratito para pensar? Sí, eso: detener todo y pensar. Sucede a menudo que el ajetreo diario nos impide percibir las cosas más simples e importantes que Dios nos proporciona... Desde el aire que respiras hoy, todo forma parte del gran regalo de Dios para ti. A veces estamos tan distraídos con todo que no nos percatamos de las maravillosas dádivas del Padre. Detente y reflexiona sobre la vida, la familia, la belleza de la creación, la salud, las sonrisas, la gentileza, la espontaneidad de los niños, el amor de Dios... ¡Hay tanto que podemos considerar y agradecer! Piensa en eso y disfruta un día lleno de bendiciones. Para y considera las maravillas de Dios hoy: Pausa un poco en tus quehaceres diarios y disfruta un tiempo a solas con Dios. Considera las pequeñas cosas, cada gesto, los detalles que revelan el gran amor que el Señor tiene por ti. Según transcurre el día agrade...

¡Vuelve al primer amor!

Sin embargo, tengo en tu contra que has abandonado tu primer amor. ¡Recuerda de dónde has caído! Arrepiéntete y vuelve a practicar las obras que hacías al principio. Si no te arrepientes, iré y quitaré de su lugar tu candelabro. - Apocalipsis 2:4-5 El principio de un noviazgo, el inicio de un nuevo proyecto de trabajo o de estudios es siempre muy intenso, lleno de entrega, de disposición y dedicación. Tal como sucede con las otras relaciones o con las actividades que comenzamos, los primeros momentos con Dios también parecen ser mucho más apasionados. Infelizmente, con el pasar del tiempo, muchos abandonan su primer amor. El versículo de hoy sirve de alerta para que no permitamos que eso acontezca y volvamos a las prácticas de amor que demostrábamos a Jesús al principio.
